Working as a Technical Consultant / Project Coordinator, was responsible for the Hardware and Networking Consultancy to the users of NIC/NICSI. Providing solutions to the projects on Turn-key basis involving all aspects of the Project cycle viz., the conceptual design, preparing comprehensive project proposal, execution, Implementation, and final Handover
Broad responsibilities include
• Review & Finalization of Rate Contract with various OEMs and Vendors
• Total infrastructure solution to all the users
• Project handling of having value more than 50 lacs.
• End-to-end relationship with infrastructure Vendors.
• Started a Quality Control Lab at NIC to evaluate various Computer Hardware Products (Computers and Peripherals) and Pre Shipment Testing. The scope involved framing the technical specifications suiting the requirements, evaluating new products for its suitability in the required implementation. Designing and carrying out comprehensive bench marking for the Computer Systems and Local Area Network Products. Carrying out detail Pre Shipment Acceptance Testing on the ordered equipment for conformance to the Order. The tests are carried out in the Lab as well as at the factory premises of the vendor.
